Cézanne - "I allow no one to touch me."

He didn't. He was very weird and liked to be left in peace with his paintings time he spent doing these little weirdo things for that time. lol

Cézanne, Paul. Still Life with Peppermint Bottle, 1890-94.

Cable man didn't appear. They say this is my computer problem as they say to anybody that has connections problems.
Ana very angry!

Yes, it's very still.

Mark Krusen said...

That stinks that they think it's your problem. Great customer service huh? Not!!

Ana said...

Do you think that changing to another will solve the problem?
You have no idea how they are disrespecting costumers down here.
You buy something, it it works good for you. If not... too bad!
I'm tired of complaining with no return.

I guess you'll just have to move to America. Here we at least pretend to listen when you have a service issue.

Ana said...

That's great!
They don't even pretend here and when we talk to technician he has a contempt tone in his voice? "We can send someone to see it but if the problem is your computer you will have to pay."

Funny how genius and weirdness so often go hand in hand!

Ana said...

I'm not very sure about that.
I believe that too much emphasis is put on artist's lives and not so much on other professions.
Some try to explain artist's works based on their biography.
Not the same is done to politicians, for instance.
Scandals about politicians are always sexual because it has to do to their moral.
Jung has a good approach on geniality and mind and he thinks that they are not related.
I'm not sure.

It's just raining Jung for me today. LOL

Actually I kind of meant the idea that the 'dark' side of genius is often displayed in eccentricity etc. That our lives tend towards unconscious balance between our oppositions but it's 2:30am and I'm quite likely rambling incoherently.

Ana said...

I don't know too much about Jung.
But I've been researching this issue and he has something important to say.
No. You're coherent even at 2:30.

I have to admit, there are a lot of days that I just want to be left in peace and have nobody touch me either! LOL!

I blogged today for Free The Slaves Awareness Day. Come check it out when you get a chance. Thanks!

There are days that one really wants to be left in peace.
I've visited your blog and got very sad about it all.
I'll try to make a post today.
Thank you for sharing it.
