Do you want an appointment with Dr. Kayoko Kifuji? Here is the address with map and directions!

This is where you can find Dr. Kayoko Kifuji, the psychiatrist that has diagnosed a 2 years-old girl, Rebecca Riley, as bipolar and prescribed her 200 mg Seroquel; 750 mg Depakote and 35 mg cloridine.
I took Depakote for six months and felt terrible lower back pain and could hardly move my neck. I also felt other side effects that I don't remember and it all went away when I stopped it
Seroquel is used as an antipsycothic and now for depression although it doesn't alter serotonine - the culprit of depression according to the chemical imbalance theory that is an hypothesis that was used by the pharmaceutical industries to make people believe they understood the origin of depression.
Seroquel deals with dopamine that is the culprit of psychosis according to other hypothesis.
It makes one sleep almost instantly and is being used as date rape pill as well as of Rohipnol.
Seroquel is also very hard to withdraw to some people but physicians are not aware of this tiny little problem.
But I digress. Rebecca Riley died two years after starting taking this cocktail and her mother, that was also taking Paxil/Seroxat/Aropax is being accused of overdosing Rebecca.
Dr. Kayoko Kifuji is not considered guilty of anything.

Thank you Ana, I hope folks follow through a bit here. Pharma-criminals are everywhere, getting richer by the second off the fears of depressed but otherwise healthy people. Why would a child need an anti-psychotic? It's a horror. Yet our research in chemicals, and the origin of our endorphins like dopamine and serotonin are what cause us to gain great value from chemical help when we need it. After all, we ARE chemical creatures and it makes sense to diagnose an imbalance as causal to depression, etc. Without that delicate balance of endorphins we'd scream in pain from a gust of wind. It's Drs like this one, and other pharma-criminals, who need the restrictions - thanks for bringing this out.

Cathy,
We have many neurotransmitters that are not known and are still to be discover.
One of the many problems with the chemical imbalance theory is that it only takes in account the amount of serotonin that is in the brain without any concern and understanding of what does it really means to reuptake it at the synaptic gap.

"Although the exact way that Cymbalta works in people is unknown, it is believed to be related to an increase in the activity of serotonin and norepinephrine which are two naturally occurring substances in the brain and spinal cord. Cymbalta is in a class of medications called selective SNRIs (serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors)."

Unknown and it's not taken into considerations all the side effects, like violent behavior that can lead a person to commit suicide or homicide among other hideous side effects.

Although what is known about neurotransmitters is still very poor they are so important in all brain and body functioning that all precautions should be taken before making any change in the complex circuit because it is really a very complicated system that involves not only neurotransmitters but also the communication between cells, neurons and God knows what else.
