During lent the pastor had given a number of sermons on the steps you needed to take to forgive someone. I wanted to forgive, but the thoughts were unwanted "intrusions." Something abot his sermons enabled me to finally forgive this person.
Good you forgave Naturalgal. I hope your memories are not inside you any longer. You can even remember but that doesn't hurt or make you angry anymore.
I can forgive, and I often forget. If I remember, it sometimes means I actually haven't forgiven. If I truly forgot, then I guess I truly forgave.
